Project 1v1 is the code name of an up coming game by Gearbox Software . It is currently in the development phase. The game will be a first-person shooter that also gives players the ability to collect cards using the metagame strategy.
Project 1v1 was initially set to release in December 2017. However, various technical issues have led to delay of the game hitting the market. It will be available for Windows users so they could play it on their PCs. During the initial stage of game development, a selected number of players were to try it using the game servers.
The idea behind this process was for the game developers to find out the gameplay and user experience. It is also worth nothing that the test was supposed to be held on American and Canadian servers. As a result, players based outside North America would see a relatively decreased performance as compared to those based in the continent.
