Many employees were also laid off in the game development company’s Seattle studio and August 21, 2012, to switch off focus to mobile and social gaming virtually. Announced on August 28, 2012, they worked on a sequel to the series, and the release date would soon be announced in the late spring of 2013. But it was never complete because the game’s status was in doubt soon after the announcement once the company went through a period of layoffs.
